Since founding 7B Software, Smith has been solving problems for clients in the fields of multilevel security engineering, Graphical User Interface development, and TCP/IP network programming. Though his work has not been limited to any one particular tool or technology, he has special expertise in Tcl/Tk, C and C++, and Linux kernels.

With offices located in Greensboro, North Carolina, 7B Software has consulted for clients in many locations. We would be pleased to work closely with your company's engineering staff. Typically this arrangement works best when we work for short periods of time in your offices (hammering out requirements and reviewing software architectures, for example), while doing the bulk of the work at our own site.
